About ZAMI
ZAMI is a Japan-based strategic advisory and venture development firm dedicated to bridging global vision with regional execution. Partnering with overseas and local forward-thinking startups and enterprises to navigate market entry, structure cross-border partnerships, and shape what comes next across Japan and beyond.
The ZAMI Story
ZAMI was created to address a persistent structural gap.  Transformative international companies often struggle to navigate Japan’s nuanced enterprise ecosystem, while established Japanese organizations seek agile global innovation but lack dedicated cross-border execution capabilities. Groundbreaking technology requires culturally fluent, hands-on strategic execution to build true global momentum. ZAMI exists to close that gap.
Why Japan, Why Now?
Driven by governance reforms and an unprecedented institutional push into next-generation technology, from AI and robotics to blockchain and clean energy, Japan has re-emerged as a compelling strategic global hub. Capturing this market requires senior-led deal structuring, deep local networks, and cross-cultural consensus-building.
Name & Philosophy
Inspired by Zamami (座間味), an island in Okinawa known for its pristine natural beauty and favorite spot of the founder, the name ZAMI carries a spirit of connection across waters. In Japanese, ZAMI is expressed through the characters 座未:
座 (Za): a gathering place or platform where people and ideas assemble.
And 未 (Mi): representing the future, unrealized potential, and new ventures.
"A place where people and ideas come together to shape what comes next."
Operating as a lean AI-first firm, ZAMI connects visionary global businesses, strategic capital, and Japanese industry leaders to build long-term, transformative value.
